Remote Moderator_innen gesucht – für Technik oder Chat!

Du wolltest unbedingt zur CFC, hast aber kein Ticket bekommen? Dann werde trotzdem Teil der Crew – als Remote Moderator_in!

Was du bekommst:
Kein Ticket nötig – Als Teil der Remote-Crew hast du Zugang zu allen hybriden und remote Sessions.
Gute Vorbereitung – Onboarding für alle, egal ob Moderationsprofi oder absoluter Neuling.

Dein Job:

• Technische Moderation (ca. 18–24 Personen gesucht):
  Halte den BBB-Raum stabil, deaktiviere unaufgefordert aktivierte Kameras und Mikros, melde technische Probleme sofort an dein Pendant vor Ort und den First Level Support.
• Allgemeine Moderation (ca. 36–48 Personen gesucht):
  Lies den Chat mit, manage gehobene Hände, priorisiere Remote-Fragen für die Vor-Ort-Moderation und lies diese ggf. stellvertretend vor. Achte auf den CoC und unterbinde Off-Topic-Diskussionen.

Ablauf:

• Kontaktaufnahme oder direkt ins Onboarding.
• Danach Poll für Mod-Workshops im Juni (1–2 Workshops, wegen der Rollenteilung empfohlen für alle).
• Session-Auswahl: Was willst du konsumieren? Was moderieren? Früh- oder Spätschicht?
• Zuteilung + finales Briefing 1–2 Wochen vor der CFC.
• Moderation der Sessions laut Einsatzplan während der CFC.
• Unterstützung durch First Level Support bei Problemen.
• Teilnahme an Retro/Lessons Learned erwünscht.

Für wen das was ist:
Menschen, die sich gerne einbringen, ein Auge auf Technik oder Gespräche haben – Erfahrung nice, aber nicht Pflicht!

Remote Moderators Wanted – for Tech or Chat!

You wanted to join CFC but didn’t get a ticket? No worries – you can still become part of the crew as a Remote Moderator!

What you get:
No ticket needed – As part of the remote crew, you’ll have access to all hybrid and remote sessions.
Full onboarding – Whether you’re a moderation pro or an absolute beginner, we’ve got you covered.
Your tasks:

• Technical Moderation (about 18–24 people needed):
  Keep the BBB room stable, mute unsolicited cameras and mics, and report technical issues immediately to the on-site tech mod and First Level Support.
• General Moderation (about 36–48 people needed):
  Monitor the chat, manage raised hands, prioritize remote questions for on-site moderation, and read them out if needed. Enforce the Code of Conduct and keep discussions on topic.

Workflow:

• Contact us or jump directly into onboarding.
• Poll for Mod Workshops in May/June (1–2 workshops, highly recommended).
• Session selection: What do you want to attend? What do you want to moderate? Early or late shifts?
• Session assignment + final briefing 1–2 weeks before CFC.
• Moderate according to the schedule during CFC.
• First Level Support is there for any issues.
• Retro/Lessons Learned participation appreciated.

People who love to support, keep an eye on tech or conversation flow – experience nice, but not required!
